Wisdom & Power

Wisdom & Power is a realistic acrylic painting on an abstract background. It was created on an archival canvas with a 1/2" bar. It has been varnished for protection and for prolonged years of enjoyment. Hanging wire and wall bumpers have been added.

This is a striking and vibrant depiction of an elephant's face. The elephant is portrayed frontally, with its head split down the middle into two contrasting color schemes. The left side of the elephant is rendered in cool blue tones with detailed textures and shading, while the right side is bathed in warm yellow and orange hues with a similarly intricate design. The background complements each side with corresponding splashes of blue on the left and warm yellow on the right, creating a dynamic contrast that highlights the duality within the single subject. The combination of realistic detailing and expressive color blocking gives the artwork a powerful and captivating presence.
